Frequency Response

Frequency Response

The frequency response of the headphones refers to the frequency range in which the speaker plays sound at high gain. Normally headphones have a range of frequency response from 12-22Hz on the low end to 20-22KHz on the high end. Therefore, if the headset has a listed frequency response of 20 Hz-20 KHz, it can play sound from 20 Hz to 20 KHz with good gain that can be heard by users. The headphones will not be able to play sounds beyond the range of these frequencies, but they can play sounds between it. And thats why this range represents the headphones' bandwidth.
